252191 · 2^5497878 - 1 is prime! (1,655,032 digits)

Code: Select all

//SR5
//pfgwexe=pfgw64.exe
llrexe=llr.exe

Wichtig!
Upcoming PrimeGrid Down Time
The BOINC server move is TENTATIVELY scheduled for Saturday, February 9th.

We are planning on moving PrimeGrid's BOINC system (www.primegrid.com) to a new server this coming Saturday, February 9th. The exact time of the move has not yet been determined. PrimeGrid's web server, forums, and BOINC will be down for as much as 24 hours while the transition is occurring.

The PRPNet server (prpnet.primegrid.com) will NOT be moving on Saturday, so the PRPNet ports and web pages should not be affected. PRPNet will move at a later, as yet undetermined date. PRPNet ports that will be eventually be affected when the PRPNet server is moved are: GCW, Primorial, Factorial, GFN32768, GFN65536, 27, and 121.

The PrimeSearchTeam forums, used for manual sieving, will not be affected and should remain up during the outage, as will the upload and download servers for manual sieving.

In the near future, we plan on moving all PRPNet ports from the prpnet.mine.nu server to prpnet.primegrid.com.

Do NOT make any changes on your computer at this time.

Fortunately, there are no conflicts in port numbers between the two servers. The only port that was used on both was 12000, and, as luck would have it, 12000 is retired on both servers.

All ports on prpnet.mine.nu will need to be moved to prpnet.primegrid.com at the same time. During this transition, the ports will likely be unavailable for several hours. No exact time has been set yet, but it will likely occur sometime in the next week, but not before the current PRPNet Challenge finishes Sunday at 18:00 UTC.

Here's what's going to happen, and what you'll need to do:

1) All of the ports running on prpnet.mine.nu have already been configured to run on prpnet.primegrid.com.

2) At a time to be announced, we will shut down all the ports on prpnet.mine.nu. You will have no access to any of those ports until the completion of step 5 below.

3) The DNS name prpnet.mine.nu will be changed to point to the prpnet.primegrid.com server. It may take as much as 24 hours for the change to propagate through the DNS system, but usually it's pretty quick.

4) We will backup all the data on prpnet.mine.nu and copy the data over to prpnet.primegrid.com. This step will likely take several hours.

5) The migrated ports will be started on prpnet.primegrid.com.

At this point, you should be able to access the migrated ports using EITHER the prpnet.mine.nu address or the prpnet.primegrid.com address. HOWEVER, you should not change the address to prpnet.primegrid.com if you have any tasks in progress on a prpnet.mine.nu port. Changing the address while work is in progress may cause the tasks to be lost or aborted. You should wait until all tasks are completed before changing the address to prpnet.primegrid.com in the prpclient.ini configuration file.

It's possible you may need to stop the PRPNet clients on your computer in order for it to pick up the new DNS definition of prpnet.mine.nu. It may also be necessary to reboot your computer.

* Do NOT change the addresses to prpnet.primegrid.com until after we move the ports.

* Do NOT change the addresses to prpnet.primegrid.com while you have tasks from prpnet.mine.nu.

* DO change the addresses to prpnet.primegrid.com, at your convenience, after the ports are moved and while there's no outstanding work from prpnet.mine.nu on your computer.

SR5

#120 Post by rebirther » 27.05.2013, 06:16

http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=5052
