Server Problems

#3 Post by KW5 » 25.08.2014, 01:50

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, now only ( CPU / DNA@home ) with (2,05 mins/sec ) yet,
only one task per request
U must manually up to five times requested,
so come one task in Box

An incredible Server :) :dirol:

Well, Sometimes the objects comes automatically, but not more
than 2 Tasks, than one hour nothing......and so on !
I´ve seen, there are enough tasks on Server.

SubsetSum@Home retirement
24 Oct 2016, 12:38:34 UTC

So some news on the SubsetSum@Home front. Professor Tom O'Neil, the theorist behind this project is retiring this December, which leaves us without a specialist to analyze the results from the project. Because of this, and due to my time commitments on other research projects, we'll be retiring the project for the time being until we can find another theorist who would be interested in continuing this work.

In the meantime we'll be leaving the site up along with all the results we've currently generated for anyone who would like to use them.

Is Citizen's Science Grid officially dead?
If you read Travis's profile here:

http://www.se.rit.edu/~travis/index.php

His energy is currently directed on other projects. It would seem this project is shelved and may never be awakened (depending on the direction Travis takes with his career).

personally I wish Travis all the best with his future endeavours.
