Well,

After some research I contacted the group holding the current World Record in this particular topic.

For the computing of board size 24 and 25, the two gruops used the same system based on some relationship between the N Queens problem (and some other problems too) and a mathematical construct called Complete Mappings [The Cyclic Complete Mapping Counting Problems].

I have no reason to doubt about their solution, despite I don't quite understand the method, it has proved valid for board sizes smaller than 24.

Now, the good news for me it's that from the same place that the world record come, a researcher computed using another method (more likely this project but less optimized) and successfully computed what he called "24 1", "24 2" and "24 3"[see page]. This results match of the first subboards of this project.

Now, that makes me think that maybe there was a problem related with the application upgrade during the project. That's why I begun a third run of the 24 board size, just to discard this posibility.

This time, its a 1 Quorum WU.. that then i manually compare with the last obtained result.

Let's See what happens.

Cheers
Israel Figueroa

Sure will run N=26... but after a brief stop... I'll need to clean the databases and make a backup of the system before continue. so will be a week or two without work.
N=26 folgt danach nun doch noch.
