Hallo Markus,

Bei FreeHAL@home werden Datenbanken konvertiert, die von FreeHAL verwendet werden. Diese stehen dann als Open Source wenige Tage später zum Download bereit.

Nachdem es uns vorher mit folgenden Worten angekündigt worden ist:

FreeHAL ist ein selbstlernendes Opensource Dialogprogramm (ehem. JEliza), mit dem man durch ein Symantisches Netzwerk Konversationen führen können soll.

Weiß nicht ob das für alle gilt, zumindest behebt es den Projektfehler, die cc_config.xml war schon immer dafür da, um erweiterte Funktionen von BOINC zu aktivieren, was ich mal bemängelt hatte, deswegen mal ein Ticket aufgemacht, damit man die Funktionen im BM ein-u. ausschalten könnte!

Freehal hatte vor kurzem ein Creditreset durchgeführt, boincstats will wohl dieses Projekt auch nicht (mehr) aufnehmen.

Nein, Nur wegen der Creditverringerung bleibt das Projekt über BOINCstats und BAM verfügbar.

If I am serious, I have to say that we just don't have enough money to run FreeHAL@home in a proper way.
Our project is some kind of insolvent - sorry, I'm not able to tell you this in a better english. There is no company behind us, so we can't be "insolvent" in the normal meaning of that word.

Half a dozen of members donated so far, and I am really thankful. But this is not enough. It's just too insufficient. I'm not rich, and with these donations I'm able to cover current costs. But I don't know how long I can do that.
That's why I really need your help.

2010-12-05: FreeHAL - FreeHAL will stop sending Workunits for 6 months
FreeHAL will stop sending Workunits to your Computers for the next 6 Months.
I'm currently in the High School and will do my Graduation in Spring 2011. Thus I won't have much time to spend with the FreeHAL@home Project.
So FreeHAL will probably have just a few or no Workunits at all for your Computers during the next 6 Months. Of cause the Project servers, the Settings, Credits, the Forums and all that stuff will stay online and will always be available to you.
Starting in June 2011 the FreeHAL Project will continue. I was hoping that this Decision could have been avoided but as I won't be available to solve issues the next Months, i think in that way I can avoid problems and issues to rise and remain unsolved.

So langsam geht das auch zuweit, wieder eine Beschlagnahmung des Servers, diesmal betrifft es Freehal:

Statement

Natürlich wird der Server in absehbarer Zukunft nicht so leicht wieder an den Eigentümer übergehen, um Spenden für neue Hardware wird gebeten. Trotzdem ist das schon nach DNETC der 2. Fall, einfach eine Riesenschweinerei!
