plan_class_spec with opencl_ati_nocal

#1 Post by rebirther » 14.06.2015, 07:12

problem:

App version needs CAL but GPU doesn't support it

Solution:

Setup a plan_class_spec.xml with content:

Code: Select all

<plan_class>
        <name>opencl_ati_nocal</name>
        <gpu_type>amd</gpu_type>
        <opencl>
        <min_opencl_driver_revision>112420</min_opencl_driver_revision>
        <min_core_client_version>70000</min_core_client_version>
        <need_amd_libs>0</need_amd_libs>
        <need_ati_libs>0</need_ati_libs>
        <min_opencl_version>100</min_opencl_version>
        <max_cal_target>1</max_cal_target>
        <min_cal_target>0</min_cal_target>
        <ngpus>1</ngpus>
        <gpu_ram_used_mb>252</gpu_ram_used_mb>
        <cpu_frac>0.003</cpu_frac>
        <gpu_peak_flops_scale>0.03</gpu_peak_flops_scale>
  </plan_class>
Thx to Eric Korpela for this working well setup.
